CF19 - Lédigos - Sahagún - 17,10 km
Itinerary
You will take the N-120 from Lédigos, leaving it later on the left side and taking the regional road to Población de Arroyo. 200 m after leaving this one, you will keep going on a path leading to Terradillos de los Templarios.
From Terradillos, you will keep going on a path parallel to the N-120 (on the left side)until you cross Villada road, following this one for a while and then taking another path that, via Moratinos, leads to San Nicolás del Real Camino. Outside this village, you will have to cross the river Sequillo (no bridge available) and soon after, you will cross the border between Palencia and León provinces, to then come back to the N-120, continuing for 2 km.
On km 235,1, and after walking 100 m on the right side of the road, you will find a fountain with potable water. Back on the road, and soon after crossing the river Valderaduey, you will turn right on a path that goes upstream towards Virgen del Puente chapel, surrounded by a beautiful poplar grove from where you will have excellent views to Sahagún.
Walking on a path that crosses a tunnel under the road and the railroad line, you will finally get to Sahagún, entering via San Martín Borough.
