You will leave Pobeña heading towards Cobaron. Soon, you will choose to go by the sea instead of next to the road. Later on, you will follow the railroad and then pass under the highway viaduct, going on a path to finally arrive at Ontón.

You will go though Ontón and keep going towards Baltezana, where you will initiate the ascent to Helguera top. This is a hard slope and the descent ends in Otañes. You will leave this village and pass by the old train station, continuing parallel to the railroad. Following this way, you will soon arrive at Santullán.

Here, you can visit the church and then keep going on a forest trail that goes through an oak wood and crosses a river, leading you to Sámano, where you can visit San Nicolás Church. Following the railroad again, you will finally get to Castro Urdiales.
